As a Christian or a Christian couple ”  waiting on God’s timing is the best, how many times have you heard this phrase? Have you also wondered why everyone seems to be talking about time and how important it is, that’s because it is a key factor in man’s life. The right action done at the wrong time has little or no impact compared to when done at the right time.

Often, impatient leads us to take matters into our own hands, only to face disappointment  or regret. But when we learn to trust God’s timing, we experience peace, growth and blessings that far exceed what we could have achieved on our own. Waiting develops perseverance, strengthens  our relationship with God and deepens our faith.

Waiting on God’s timing requires trust and surrender. Unlike human timing, which can be rushed, uncertain or influenced by emotions, God’s timing  is precise and flawless. what may seem like a delay to us is God preparing the right circumstances shaping our character or protecting us from troubles we cannot yet see. For example, Abraham and Sarah had to wait many years for the promised son Isaac, but that waiting period revealed the faithfulness of God in fulfilling His word.

Learning to rest in God’s timing builds patience, strengths faith and deepens our reliance on Him. It teaches us that his ways are higher than ours and His delays are not denials. Every season we go through whether waiting, reaping or enduring trials is part of God’s greater plan for our good and His glory. trusting God’s timing helps us live with peace

Meaning of Time? In simple words time is the ongoing sequence of events taking place (the past, present and future). The basic unit of time is seconds and we measure it with a clock (some of us use watches or just phones)

What Is The Importance Of  Time

• Time is money but unlike physical when lost cannot be gained. Thus, knowing its importance is great benefit especially as believers and Christian couples.
• Time helps us plan and strategize(1Chronicles 12:32)
• Time helps us to know what to do in different season
• The effective use of time helps us build ourselves and become more productive

Most importantly time act as a reminder, always reminding us that we are mortals created by God and someday we will give an account of our life here on earth.

What Does The Bible Say About Time

 There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens.

• a time to be born and a time to die
• a  time to plant and a time to uproot
• a time to kill and a time to heal
• a time to tear down and a time to build
• a time to keep silence and a time to speak
• a time to love and a time to hate
• a time to mourn and time to dance
• a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them
• a time for war and a time for peace
• a time to get and a time to lose

What Is God’s Timing

God’s timing is the appointed duration he has set for something/an event to unfold. This time  is different from ours and not knowing this fact can lead to worry and doubt especially in the seasons of waiting (Psalm 102:13, Ecclesiastes 3:11 and Habakkuk 2:3)

Note: A season is a stage in ones life where God is trying to speak or teach us something.

5 Reason Why God’s Timing Is Beautiful

God’s timing is the best and there is beauty in it. God is never too slow nor too fast. He is always on time coming to the full realization of this will give you rest  and peace of mind. No matter the season you are in when you trust God’s timing He will.

2   Enable you to enjoy every moment of today(Proverbs 27:1)                                                                 

There was a point in my life when I worried about my future what’s next, what do I do what if things don’t go as planned, etc.  It was  such a heavy burden on me . I was so focused  on my tomorrow that it was weighing me down that I forgot to live today.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with making plans of tomorrow. However live today , enjoy every moment and trust in God’s timing.

3   Gives you a future and hope( Jeremiah 29:11)

Most times when God is making us wait it’s because he has something bigger and better in store for us. The waiting period is him simply preparing us for the amazing future He has for us. God’s plans for you are good and perfect He desires you to have the best. Waiting on God’s timing  will enable you to see the the goodness of God.

4  Gives you strength(Isaiah 40:28-31)                                                                                                         

I will be lying if I say waiting on God’s timing is easy, no it’s not! it requires a lot of patience and zeal to keep on waiting with the right attitude. Regardless of the difficulty in waiting, you are never alone. God is always by you, strengthening you to hold on. When we wait on God, He strengthens us and builds in us great capacities.

5   He will reward us (Galatians 6:9)                                                                                                           

Paul was writing to the believers encouraging them not to give up on doing good, in due time God will reward them. We know that with God, the ending is always beautiful. When we patiently wait on we know for sure that he will reward us.

Why Do We Miss Out On God’s Timing?

Because of our impatient, sometimes we rush and we tend to miss out on God’s timing. This can  be bad because we might go out of his will and neglect Grace and when the ”’ Now ”’ of God is in motion we won’t know (2Corinthians 6:2)

 Words Of  Encouragement 

If you feel you are in your dry season and not seeing any result in your waiting…. just hold on!  

If you feel you might have missed out on God’s time, get on your knees with all humility and ask for grace.

If you are struggling with managing your time ask the Holy spirit to teach you to use your time well. Also read books on time management and be intentional about your time… Its valuable

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of life. Thank you for giving me time. I pray that you will help me to be sensitive in my spirit so that I may know what you are saying at a particular time. Give me the grace to use my time wisely. This I ask in Jesus name… Amen
